A proud misfit and once a nomadic child, H.C. Woo writes for the perpetual seekers and outsiders on a journey to hero up. His stories illuminate the rewards and the struggles of marching to one's authentic drum. Hey, What's on 13? represents his debut novel.

Born in South Korea, Woo immigrated as a child to the rural American south, before spending his formative years switching schools throughout Atlanta. During his twenties and thirties, he worked in film production, followed by social services, while exploring the fringes of New York and San Francisco. Since 2018, he's found a home in southern California, where he earns a living as a project manager.

Apart from writing, Woo can be found hiking nearby peaks, plotting his next trip, or worshipping heavy music live. He is currently exploring short form writing, while also drafting his second novel.
